Edinburgh, Scotland – 25th April 2025 – Our Republic, Scotland’s campaign for an elected head of state, is proud to co-host Republic Day 2025 in Edinburgh, a public rally on Saturday 10 May from 2:00–4:00 PM on Calton Hill. Organised in partnership with Republic Edinburgh and Republic UK, this national day of action brings together campaigners and supporters to demand a modern, democratic alternative to the monarchy

Our Republic warmly welcomes the Scottish Green Party’s support for our campaign’s goal for a Scottish republic. This endorsement reflects a growing momentum and shared vision for a modern Scotland, free from the inherited powers and privileges of the monarchy that undermine the concept of equality for all, and one where our elected representatives swear their allegiance to the people, not the Monarch.
